BBC World News and Citi (Citibank) have just started transmission of the third in my series of branded documentary commercials: Transforming World Trade: The Panama Canal. The film tells Canal’s construction with some exceptional early archive footage.

The commercials are being broadcast in commercial breaks alongside the BBC World News series One Day In, also sponsorred by Citi.  It’s part of a series of commercials / branded documentaries I recently directed for the bank. After shoots in New York, Singapore, Antwerp and Berlin, it was a pleasant change to shoot the final scene at my local street market, my first shoot in a long time where the director was able to cycle to work, keeping me green!
