In 2008 I produced and directed a short documentary in Georgia, USA. Finally I will get to shoot in the other Georgia.  Later this month I’m flying off to Tblisi to produce, direct and edit an episode of Working Lives, a BBC World News documentary series.

Painting a Picture of Georgia Today

The BBC documentary will paint a picture of life in Georgia today, profiling five fascinating characters on very different incomes. We’ll see how the country has changed dramatically since the 2008 war with Russia. The programmes’s reporter is Tom Esslemont and I’m particularly excited to be working with series producer Jonathan Brunert, with whom I first worked on Panorama: Tony Blair’s Long Goodbye in 2006.
