The Opera Singer – Comedy Short Film

The Opera Singer directed by Nadaav

The Opera Singer is a 3 minute short comedy, about the struggles of an Opera singer to make ends meet in a digital world.

The Opera Singer was originally made for a 48 hour film competition at London Short Film Festival. The film had a striking interactive / live performance element, as the soundtrack was played on the mobile phones of actors hidden in the audience.

It was recut into a festival friendly version which screened for two consecutive years at London Short Film Festival and Raindance, as well as Virgin Media Shorts, the ICA, and many other film festivals.

The crew includes my regular collaborator, Emmy Award winning director of photography, Franklin Dow, and was edited by Adam Gough, who was nominated for a BAFTA for editing Roma.
